Our Temporary Locations

Our practice at 113 Stuart Street is currently undergoing works to address flood damage. While this work is underway, we will be operating across two temporary locations in Mullumbimby as well as providing Telehealth sessions.

Our entire reception team have now relocated to the ground level of Mullumbimby Comprehensive Health Centre, 60 Stuart Street. Please feel free to pop in to make or change an appointment, ask about how to get support or make a payment. Thank you for your patience as we navigate the post-flood era.

  • Mullumbimby Comprehensive Health Centre, 60 Stuart Street
    • Visit concierge upon arrival and advise that you are attending for Mullumbimby Psychology. They will direct you to our reception area on the ground floor.
  • 1/64 McGoughans Lane, Mullumbimby
    • Located next door to the Little Lane Dental and directly across the alley from The Echo Newspaper office. To find us enter via Stuart Street, start at Hooked and Cooked fish shop and the Cardamom Pod and walk down the lane between the two shops passed Brazilian Jiu Jitsu as marked on the map below. The building has a glass door and green/turquoise timber frame with a ‘Mullumbimby Psychology’ sign on it.  Ring the door bell and your psychologist will greet you. (Please note our reception service has relocated to Mullum Comprehensive Health Centre as noted above).

For face-to-face sessions, please read your appointment confirmations and reminders carefully, as this will inform you which location your session will be occurring at.

Connect to Wellbeing can help direct you to the right information or service that best suits your needs, including:

Healthy Minds
Free counselling program – up to 10 sessions with a mental health professional (including our team of psychologists at Mullumbimby Psychology) trained to support you through challenging times. Services are available in person or over the phone. A GP referral is not required.

Up to 10 free telepsychology sessions using your smartphone, tablet or computer.

Medicare Better Access
Visit your GP for a referral to a Medicare-registered mental health professional, such as a psychologist or mental health social worker, to access up to 20 counselling sessions. A Mental Health Treatment Plan is required. Fees may apply.

Healthy North Coast GP Telehealth service 1800 931 158
Free GP consultations for flood affected communities. Phone or video, 24 hours/7 days.

Professional Counselling Services

Mullumbimby Psychology provides counselling to support people through life’s challenges. We also provide a range of other services including psychological assessments, organisational psychology services and medico-legal reports. Services are available face-to-face in Mullumbimby on the North Coast of New South Wales. Mullumbimby Psychology use evidence-based therapies that are client-centred.

Providing psychological services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families across a broad range of issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss and relationships and parenting skills. Our psychologists are all experienced and chosen for their high degree of empathy and competence. Our practice is located in a professional, quiet and comfortable space in the heart of town. We are able to provide medicare rebates for clients coming under a GP Mental Health Care Plan. We also support clients under a number Employee Assistance Programs, Workers Compensation, Motor Accident Insurance, Victim Services and Veteran Affairs as well as privately paying clients. We can also support clients living locally with disabilities through home visits where it is not physically possible to attend our office.
