Due to continued growth a vacancy exists for a permanent part-time and casual receptionist to work in our established private practice. Mullumbimby Psychology is located within a quiet and beautiful space in the heart of town and provides a broad range of psychological services across the lifespan.

As the face of our business, you will handle new and existing customer enquiries, help our clients feel welcome, answer phones, manage client intake processes and waitlists, take payments and complete a range of bookkeeping and administrative tasks. The role also affords opportunities to liaise both verbally and in writing with health professionals and suppliers.

Joining us for our monthly breakfast meetings will help you feel part of our team.

The successful applicant ideally has experience in administration, book keeping and reception; with medical reception experience or graduate qualifications desirable. Most importantly, you need to be able to provide a calming, kind and gentle presence whilst multi-tasking and have plenty of mental horsepower to straddle a diverse role that will keep you learning and growing. You will benefit from working as part of a cohesive, positive and professional team in a busy practice.

You will need strong IT literacy skills as our business implements significant digital strategies in 2021. A high attention to detail, exceptional customer service, written and oral communication and organisational skills are required. Some counselling skills/training is well regarded.

Psychologist

A vacancy exists for a Psychologist to work part-time in our established and professional private practice. Mullumbimby Psychology is located within a quiet and beautiful space in the heart of town close to great food, amenities and a slower pace of life. We provide services to children, adolescents and adults across a broad range of presenting issues using integrative, evidence based and client-centred therapies.

The successful applicant is ideally experienced in working across the lifespan although this is not essential. You will benefit from working as part of a relaxed, cohesive and professional team with full administrative support and regular referrals.

As a compassionate therapist with a track record of strong client retention, you will have the opportunity to work with a broad variety of presenting concerns and pursue your areas of interest. Essential is the ability to work autonomously matched by the desire to be a valuable part of our team.
