  • Join a passionate and caring team
  • Enjoy working with children and/or adults

A vacancy exists for an experienced clinical, counselling, neuropsychologist or registered psychologist to work part-time (2-4 days) in our established and professional practice.

Mullumbimby Psychology thrives within a quiet and beautiful space in the heart of the Mullumbimby township. We provide psychological services including counselling and assessments to children, adolescents and adults across a broad range of presenting issues using integrative, evidence based and client-centred therapies.

Psychologists working at Mullumbimby Psychology benefit from joining a relaxed, cohesive, professional and diverse team receiving regular referrals in this busy practice. You also have the ability to set your own work schedule. Client bookings and administration requirements are managed through our onsite reception service. Combined with our web/mobile enabled practice management systems, clinicians are afforded more time to focus on providing therapeutic outcomes as well as connecting with colleagues in our sunroom, heading down to the local pool in a lunch break or having time with family and friends. We also provide regular group and peer supervision.

To be considered for this ongoing contracting role, applicants need to be able to demonstrate strong client retention, a passion for professional development and ideally have an interest and background in working with children and families.

Applicants need to have a broad range of experience, ideally more than 5 years post registration (although not essential) and to be able to offer something unique to the practice. Essential is the desire to be a valuable part of a team of psychologists who are willing to be actively involved in supporting mental health in the community.

Please include a tailored cover letter with your resume addressing the above selection criteria.
