Fees:  50 min standard session
Full fee – $185 (*$60.50 gap with Medicare rebate)
Concession – $150 (*25.50 gap with Medicare rebate).
(*Medicare rebate $124.50 with a GP Mental Health Plan). 
Jacki offers a Bulk-Billing clinic for clients who are experiencing severe financial hardship. Current unemployment and Health Care Card or similar are required to be eligible for Bulk-Billing. Jacki is also WorkCover and Victim Services accredited.

Clinical Psychologist Jacki Elphinstone is experienced in working with adults and adolescents, individuals, couples and families across a broad range of issues including trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, pain, health crises, relationship conflict and difficulties. Jacki has over 26 years of experience in counselling and psychological treatment and utilises a client centred integrative approach drawing on skills from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Schema Focussed Therapy, Mindfulness practices, Guided Imagery,and Psychosynthesis. She is also a qualified NLP and Ericksonian Hypnosis Practitioner and has further training in Psychodrama and Sandplay Therapy, combining cognitive therapies with humanistic, experiential and action methods. Jacki is committed to both personal and professional development.

Jacki believes that times of emotional pain and crisis can present us with the opportunity and motivation for growth and deeper self-discovery as we strive to discover our strengths and resources, and gain a deeper appreciation of life’s meaning and purpose. Jacki is valued for her compassionate and creative synthesis of different methodologies, with a solution rather than problem focussed approach, acknowledging strengths and using varied methods to access and harness your potential and insight, promote well-being, develop new skills, and achieve more helpful views and perspectives on life experiences.

As well as providing services to clients with mental health and wellness issues Jacki has many years of experience in the private and corporate sector providing counselling in employee assistance programs, executive coaching, trauma counselling and debriefing, mediation, fitness for work assessments, and assessments for insurers. 

Qualifications: Jacki has a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Hon 1) from the LaTrobe University, VIC, a Masters of Clinical Psychology from the Australian National University of ACT (1988), and a Certificate IV in Workplace Assessment and Training. Jacki is a Registered Psychologist (PSY0001139395), and is a full Member of the Australian Psychological Society (MAPS). Jacki is accredited as Clinical Psychologist specialist services provider with Medicare, a registered WorkCover Health Care Provider (Reg No:7971) and Victims of Crime Counsellor in NSW.
