Couples – $200

Travel, phone calls and reports will be charged at standard hourly rates in 15 minute increments.

*Medicare rebate $96.65 with a GP Mental Health Plan

Giovanna is a Registered Psychologist offering counselling and psychological services to adults, adolescents and couples. Giovanna works with people experiencing a range of presenting concerns including anxiety, depression, grief and loss, health and wellbeing issues, relationship difficulties, stress, work-related issues, pain management, life challenges and transitions, and trauma.

Giovanna deeply believes in people’s innate ability to overcome their difficulties and heal. She is genuinely dedicated to supporting clients to reach their potential and live a truly fulfilling life by addressing the underlying issues and obstacles that prevent them from moving forward. Giovanna is known by her clients for her genuine care, warmth, and ability to provide a supportive environment for them to express their concerns.

Giovanna’s approach is holistic, client-centred and evidence based. She uses a number of evidence-based interventions including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Compassion Focused Therapy, Mindfulness and Psychodynamic Therapy.

Qualifications

Giovanna has a Master of Professional Psychology from Central Queensland University, a Bachelor of Science (Psychology) with Honours from University of Southern Queensland, a Graduate Diploma of Psychology from Southern Cross university. Giovanna also holds a Bachelor of Exercise Science and Certificate IV in Fitness and Personal Training. Giovanna is a member of the Australian Psychological Association (APS).
