Mandy is a registered psychologist offering counselling and psychological assistance to adults, adolescents, children and families.  Mandy has a broad experience from her roles as a School Counsellor, working in private practice and within the Employee Assistance Program space (EAP).  Mandy works with clients who experience a range of concerns including: anxiety, depression, work related issues, and the stressors involved the life changes that day to day life can raise.

Mandy utilises a number of evidence-based interventions:

  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
  • Brief Solution Focussed Therapy
  • Interactive Drawing Therapy
  • Motivational Interviewing

Mandy offers a broad experience from her past and current counselling opportunities as she assists her client towards a more fulfilling life journey. Mandy is an Indigenous Psychologist with Aboriginal heritage, relating with Wirrajuri heritage from her mother’s family.

Qualifications

Mandy has a Graduate Diploma of Counselling from Charles Sturt University, a Graduate Diploma of Student Support from the University of Queensland, a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) from the University of New England, a Diploma of Physical Education and Health from the Sydney College of Advanced Education and a Diploma of Visual Arts from TAFE Lismore.
